Does Dakari Johnson have a future in the NBA?

04/20/2017 03:15 PM

Former Kentucky Wildcat Dakari Johnson saw his season with the Oklahoma City Blue come to an end last night, as the Blue fell to Kyle Wiltjer and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the D-League western conference finals.

Johnson dominated in the game, scoring 31 points on 11-13 shooting and grabbing nine rebounds. He finished the season averaging 18.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Johnson has been working to land on an NBA roster for the last two years and he hopes that this past season showed scouts that he has what it takes to compete at the next level.
