Devin Booker's bright future with the Phoenix Suns

Former Cat Devin Booker is coming off of a strong sophomore season with the Phoenix Suns. Booker is the face of the young franchise that hopes to take the next step and make the playoffs next season.

Booker talked with SLAM about this past season.

“I feel like I accomplished the start of something,” said Booker. “The 70 points and game-winners, I think that was a start of a legacy. People start to know my name actually now and they’re looking to say he’s the future. Now, I think it’s my job to lead this team to winning and turning around the franchise. It’s been an ugly first two years but I think at the end of it will be the most meaningful—going through all the losses, not making the playoffs. I think it’s going to be actually that much better when we start doing that.”

Bradley McKee and Clayton Abernathy take a look at Booker’s future with Phoenix.
