Derek Willis has signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons. ESPN’s Chris Haynes first broke the news this afternoon.

The former Wildcat played for Detroit in the Las Vegas Summer League, where he averaged 3.5 points, two rebounds, 1.3 assists per game in four contests.

As a senior at Kentucky, Willis averaged 7.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Details of the deal have not been released.
