Defenses Beware: UK Football adjusting to new offense

After several weeks of practices to get ready, it was the offense that shined during Kentucky’s first football scrimmage of spring practices on Saturday.
Running backs Jojo Kemp and Stanley “Boom” Williams busted multiple long rushes, and with Patrick Towles and Drew Barker splitting snaps, the UK offense scored or reached field goal range on its first four possessions.
After a stagnant offense soured a promising start with six straight loses to end the 2014 season, new offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson seems to have the Cats clicking again, and the team’s noticing the improvements.
