De'Aaron Fox to enter NBA Draft, will sign with an agent

04/03/2017 06:58 PM

Kentucky freshman point guard De’Aaron Fox has declared for the NBA draft and is expected to hire an agent.

Fox led Kentucky to the Elite Eight this season, scoring a freshman record 39 points against UCLA in the Sweet 16. The Houston, Texas native averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 4 rebounds per game this past season.

The move isn’t surprising, considering Fox is projected to be a top-10 pick. DraftExpress has Fox going sixth overall to the New York Knicks, while NBADraft.net has him going fourth to the Orlando Magic.

KSTV’s TJ Beisner and Bradley McKee discuss Fox’s outlook at the next level.
