De'Aaron Fox drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the No. 5 pick

The Sacramento Kings selected De’Aaron Fox with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Sacramento’s roster now features three former Kentucky players with Fox joining big men Skal Labissiere and Willie Cauley-Stein.

Fox averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in his one season at Kentucky. He earned All-SEC First Team honors by the Associated Press and league coaches. He was also named a third-team All-American by USA Today and CBS Sports.

Sacramento finished 12th in the Western Conference last season with a 32-50 record.
