Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist and Knight Tabbed For Rising Stars Challenge

Former Cats Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Brandon Knight have been selected to participate in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend. Davis and Kidd-Gilchrist, both in their first season, will be teammates and face a squad that includes Knight.

In just half a season as a professional, Davis is averaging 12.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, while Kidd-Gilchrist is good for 9.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Knight, meanwhile, is putting up 14.0 points, 4.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in his second season with the Pistons. All three players will be a part of the draft pool, where teams will be selected by Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal on February 7.
