John Calipari’s 2013 class was already regarded as one of the best in the history of college basketball. And now it’s even better. Dakari Johnson, the nation’s top center, committed to UK during an ESPNU broadcast earlier this evening, giving UK six commitments in the class.

Johnson, who reclassifed from 2014 several weeks ago, is rated by Scout.com as the nation’s fifteenth-best prospect. The 6’10”, 240 pound center played middle school basketball in Lexington at Sayre and currently plays for Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.

He joins Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison, James Young, Marcus Lee and Derek Willis in UK’s 2013 class.
