DeMarcus Cousins named to Olympics roster

It’s official. DeMarcus Cousins is headed to Rio for the 2016 Olympics.

The former UK star has been officially named as a member of the US Men’s Basketball team that will compete in the Olympics later this month.

Cousins, who just concluded his sixth NBA season, scored a career-high 26.9 points per game last season, to go along with 11.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. He won a gold medal with Team USA in the 2014 FIBA World Championships.
