02/07/2013 02:07 PM

House Bill 7, known more commonly to UK fans as the bill carrying the hopes of a renovated Commonwealth Stadium, was approved by the Kentucky House of Representatives easily today, 97-1. The lone nay vote came from Republican Toby Herald of Beattyville.

The bill now goes before the State Senate, where it is expected to be approved quickly and without issue. From there, Governor Steve Beshear is expected to sign off on it shortly thereafter.

Then, a national championship.
