Jordan Jones, Kentucky’s leading tackler a year ago has been a question mark all week with a shoulder injury. The UK coaching staff has been quiet about the injury, but last night, Mark Stoops offered up the final word.

That means Jones’ responsibilities this week will fall on sophomore Eli Brown. the Bowling Green native has two tackles this season and recorded 24 last year as a redshirt freshman. He was the highest rated prospect in UK’s 2015 class that included Jones, as well as CJ Conrad, Derrick Baity, Chris Westry and Josh Allen, and Mark Stoops says Brown is ready to step up on Saturday.
