Notre Dame Holds UK To Fewest Points Of Calipari Era, Wins 64-50

John Calipari’s young Kentucky team faced its first true road test Thursday night in South Bend and the Cats showed they still have much to learn as Notre Dame controlled throughout, earning a 64-50 win. Kentucky was again out-rebounded and only Julius Mays (16) and Nerlens Noel (10) scored in double digits. Freshmen Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress, the team’s two leading scorers, combined for only six points on 2-8 shooting.

Be sure to watch KSTV Friday as we recap the loss to Notre Dame and look ahead to Baylor.
