It had been just over two months since the Kentucky basketball team played a ranked opponent, but the 18th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks looked like all of the teams that had come before them as the Cats cruised to victory.
UK jumped out to a 16-point halftime lead at 42-26 and continued the rally in the second half behind Andrew Harrison and Trey Lyles. Harrison finished with 18 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds while Lyles added 18 points and 5 rebounds. Tyler Ulis (14 ponts) and Devin Booker (10) points gave the spark off the bench, while sophomore guard Aaron Harrison notched maybe the team’s most complete performance with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
With the win, the Cats moved to 29-0 on the season and are only two games away from finishing the regular season undefeated. The Cats return to the floor Tuesday night at 9pm against Georgia.
