The 1996 Kentucky basketball team is one of the most beloved teams in program history. Rick Pitino led the talented group to a 34-2 record, capping the year off with the school’s sixth national championship.

The ’96 team held their 20-year reunion this past summer and one of the members of the team, Cameron Mills, decided he was going to make a documentary from it, telling the story of what made that team so special.

The documentary is called “The Team” and can be rented or purchased at cameronmillsradio.com.

We caught up with Cameron about what went into making “The Team” and how that team compares with some of Calipari’s best groups.
