Brenden Bates commits to Kentucky

Kentucky just picked up a big-time 2018 commitment from four-star tight end Brenden Bates. He chose Kentucky over hometown school Cincinnati, Louisville and Vanderbilt among others. The junior attends Moeller high school.

Bates is the No. 10 tight end in the 2018 class, according to Rivals. He stands tall at 6’ 5” and weighs 220 pounds. Kentucky now has five commitments in the 2018 class. Bates joins defensive ends Alex Reigelsperger (Huber Heights, OH) and Davoan Hawkins (Hollywood, FL), as well as wide receiver Marvin Alexander (Hollywood, FL) and quarterback Jarren Williams (Lawrenceville, GA)
