Breaking down Kentucky's region in the NCAA tournament

Kentucky is a No. 2 seed in this year’s NCAA tournament and will face No. 15 Northern Kentucky at approximately 9:30 pm ET on Friday. The Wildcats path to a final four will have to go through the winner of No. 7 Dayton vs. No. 10 Wichita State, followed by a potential sweet 16 matchup with UCLA, who beat Kentucky 97-92 at Rupp on Dec. 3, and an elite eight battle with No. 1 North Carolina. Malik Monk scored 47 points as Kentucky beat UNC 103-100 on Dec. 17.

Most agree that it is a tough draw for the Wildcats, who are the No. 5 overall seed (top two seed) in the tournament. Either way, the Wildcats enter the tournament on an 11-game winning streak. Former Kentucky basketball player Mark Krebs joins Clayton Abernathy to break down Kentucky’s region and discuss which two seed has the easiest path to Phoenix.
