Brandon Knight suffers torn ACL, could miss 2017-18 season

Former Cat and current Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight has suffered a torn ACL and could miss the 2017-2018 season. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and then confirmed by the team.

Knight sustained the injury last week while playing basketball in South Florida. The former Kentucky star has struggled to find his spot in the NBA, playing on three teams in six seasons. Knight had his worst season in 2016, averaging just 11 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game, all career lows. For his career, he’s averaging 15.2 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
