Brad Calipari headed to Croatia for basketball tour

Kentucky sophomore Brad Calipari is one of 14 college players who will travel to Croatia for an eight-day basketball trip.

The team, which departs for Croatia on Monday and will be coached by Bucknell assistant coach Joe Meehan, will play four games and take part in cultural events. The team will represent Global Sports Academy and play games against Zadar, Sibenik, Kastela and Split.

Last year as a freshman, Calipari made 15 appearances and scored eight points.
