Bam Adebayo and De'Aaron Fox off to strong starts in Vegas Summer League

Two of Kentucky’s 2017 first round draft picks, Bam Adebayo and De’Aaron Fox, had strong showings in the first few days of the Las Vegas Summer League.

Fox made his Sacramento debut on Friday night against the Phoenix Suns. The former Cat finished with 18 points (7-16 FG), five steals and four assists.

Fox stuffed the stat sheet again on Sunday against Memphis. He recorded 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 30 minutes of action.

Fox is averaging 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. At Kentucky he averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. De’Aaron Fox and the Kings take on Lonzo Ball and the Lakers tonight at 10:30 p.m.

Bam Adebayo carried momentum from the Orlando summer league to Las Vegas on Saturday. Adebayo was a human highlight reel against the Spurs. He had 18 points and 10 rebounds in Miami’s 75-74 win over San Antonio. You can catch Adebayo and the Miami Heat in action today at 4:30 p.m. against the Washington Wizards.
