The University of Kentucky is unveiling a statue honoring the four players who broke the color barrier in SEC football tonight at 7 pm. The statue will honor Nate Northington and Greg Page, who first came to UK in 1966, and Wilbur Hackett and Houston Hogg, who joined them one year later.

The statue will be located between the new practice facility and Commonwealth stadium. Following Wednesday’s practice, Derrick Baity, Courtney Love and Blake McClain spoke on the importance of honoring these four men and what the statue means to them.
