Backup quarterback Hoak shines in UK football spring game

The Blue team defeated the white team, 31-14 in UK football’s spring game Friday night at Commonwealth Stadium. The two teams entered the half tied at 14 behind rushing touchdowns from Benny Snell and Sihiem King, but it was redshirt freshman quarterback Gunnar Hoak who was the star. Hoak suited up for both teams and completed 16 of his 24 passes for 174 yards 2 touchdowns. He also had a 5-yard touchdown run. You can see the full box score here.
