Antigua reflects on Kentucky, preps for new job at USF

One of the more familiar faces on UK’s bench over the past five seasons has been that of assistant coach Orlando Antigua. Coach O has decided to take the leap and become the new head coach at the University of South Florida.

Antigua joined Mark Krebs on KSTV to discuss last season’s run to the finals, his time at Kentucky as a whole, and why USF was the right fit for him. He also dishes on the decision-making process of guys choosing whether or not to declare for the NBA Draft.

Mark Krebs graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and was a three-year letterman in basketball. He proved himself to three different coaches (Smith, Gillispie, and Calipari) in his four years with the Cats and eventually earned a scholarship after three years of being a walk-on. Mark is currently splitting time between his book tour for Beyond a Dream and starring as part-time co-host on KSTV.
