Anthony Davis Sprains Ankle, Unlikely For Olympics

Anthony Davis’ career as a New Orleans Hornet got off to a somewhat disappointing start when the former UK big man severely sprained his ankle during a workout. The injury, reported by Yahoo! Sports columnist Adrian Wojnarowski, is expected to keep him from competing for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team.

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh withdrew from consideration over the weekend, opening more of an opportunity for the reigning National Player of the Year.
