From his teammates calling him “Karl Kardashian” to being named the Midwest Region’s Most Valuable Player in the 2015 NCAA tournament, it’s not an exaggeration to say that Karl-Anthony Towns has grown a lot during his freshman season at the University of Kentucky.

But is he already ready to be the top pick in the upcoming NBA Draft?

According to ESPN and draftexpress.com, yes, he is.

Both outlets are currently projecting Towns to be the first player taken in May, followed by fellow freshman Jahlil Okafor of Duke.

Okafor has had a fine first collegiate season himself, winning ACC Player of the Year as a freshman and also being a finalist for the Associated Press’ National Player of the Year honor.

Now, to be honest, choosing between these two players is like having options 1-A and 1-B. But if you were the NBA owner who had to make the top overall pick next month, who would you take?
