Alex Montgomery Out For The Season After TD Celebration

Mark Stoops announced today that freshman wide receiver Alex Montgomery is out for the season after tearing his ACL during a touchdown celebration against Alabama State. Montgomery caught a six-yard pass from quarterback Jalen Whitlow and then jumped in the air to celebrate with DeMarco Robinson and Anthony Kendrick before landing awkwardly and injuring his knee. Montgomery finishes the season with 16 catches for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns.
