After a timid first day, UK's offense is beginning to click at Fall camp

With the first day of Fall camp, the UK football team opened the 2014 season Monday. Coaches praised the players and their progressions through the summer, but they admitted there was a bit of rust.

Freshmen being thrown into the fray had some bumps and bruises, receivers struggled to make routine catches and all-around jitters overtook some of the Cats. But according to offensive coordinator Neal Brown, Tuesday was a different story.

Day two of camp yielded less drops, more catches, crisper runs and a sense of confidence. There’s a long way to go until the UK football team finally opens the season, but Coach Brown likes what he sees so far.
