Fourth commemorative Maker's Mark bottle in five-bottle series to be released

The fourth commemorative Maker’s Mark bottle in a five-bottle series is set to go on sale Friday, April 6. Maker’s Mark and Keeneland have partnered with the University of Kentucky to raise $2 million for the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services (CATS) through the companies’ contributions and a portion of proceeds from the bottle sales. Registration is now open for the first-ever Go Big Blue 4-Miler, which will be held on Saturday, April 14. The race will begin outside Kroger Field and wind through various UK Athletics Facilities, before ending on the playing surface at Kroger Field. The University of Kentucky Bat Cats were down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to face the Crimson Tide over the weekend. The Cats lost 4-2 on both Friday and Saturday to go 0-2 in the series. But the Cats who are ranked 9th in the nation, rallied on Easter Sunday for a 5-2 win over the Tide. UK BASKETBALL | Tai Wynyard Granted Full Release

Kentucky men’s basketball forward Tai Wynyard is transferring from UK. Head Coach John Calipari made the announcement on Monday. Just six games into his college career, the six-eleven freshman went for 25 and 15 against Fort Wayne and looked like he was on his way to a breakout season. This time last year, it would have been crazy to think that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would be a potential lottery pick, but the freshman guard averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists per game. along with nearly two steals.
