Kentucky hosts PA Announcer Tryouts on Campus

About 50 people came together at John Cropp Stadium this week with hopes of landing a gig as the next voice of the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky hosted a public tryout for public address announcers and in-game hosts and we were there as the contestants showed off behind the mic.  Read more

There have been rumors the last few weeks that Kentucky’s annual alumni game could feature a matchup between former Wildcats and a group of NBA players, possibly the Golden State Warriors. Former Cats Julius Randle and Karl-Anthony Towns say they like their chances.  Read more

UK Football Hosts Annual Women's Clinic

Nearly 300 women participated in UK football’s annual women’s clinic Saturday in the Woodford Reserve room at Kroger Field. In it’s 17th year, the women heard from coaches and learned different football terms, watched film, did give-aways, watched a fashion show with the players and heard from kicker Austin MacGinnis, before taking the field to go through some drills. Breaking Down De'Aaron Fox's Expectations in Sacramento

De’Aaron Fox was one of nine former Wildcats to play in the Las Vegas Summer League. The Kings expect him to make an immediate impact on their roster, despite some concerns potentially about his jump shot. Fox averaged just under 12 points and three assists per game for the Kings, while teammate Skal Labissiere averaged 10 and five, playing over 25 minutes per game for Sacramento. Six-foot-six, 350 pound Kiyaunta Goodwin usually gets one response when he steps onto the football field. “Usually shock, but like if you listen to me talk you can get I’m in the eighth grade. Former swimmer named finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year

A former swimmer for Kentucky has been named as a nominee for the 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year. Danielle Galyer was chosen from an initial pool of 543 nominees. She is one of two nominees from the SEC. The NCAA Woman of the Year award honors graduating female college athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership. Galyer became Kentucky’s first swimmer to win a national championship when she took the 200-yard backstroke crown... Read more 

Two Wildcat legends pass away over the weekend

Two former Kentucky Wildcats legends passed away over the weekend. Former Kentucky quarterback Vito “Babe” Parilli passed away on Saturday at the age of 87 and former Kentucky basketball player Jerry Bird died on Sunday at the age of 83. Parilli led the Kentucky football team to the Orange, Sugar and Cotton Bowls in the 1949-1951 seasons. The Rochester, Pennsylvania native was a first-team All-American in 1950 and 1951. He had a historic career at Kentucky, throwing for 4,351 yards... Read more
