Mark Stoops previews the season at the UK Football Kickoff Luncheon

In the final stop of what he calls “the talking season”, UK football coach Mark Stoops joined over 700 fans in Louisville on Friday for the annual UK Football Kickoff Luncheon. In an event hosted by “The Voice of the Wildcats”, Tom Leach, Stoops and his assistants looked ahead to the season and discussed the goals they’ve laid out for their team.  Read more 

Five-star WR Jermaine Eskridge commits to Kentucky Football

LEXINGTON — The dice continue to be hot for the Kentucky Football team after landing a commitment from five-star wide receiver Jermaine Eskridge on Thursday afternoon: The 6-foot-3 athlete from Tampa, Florida, is Kentucky’s first verbal for 2018 and the sixth overall player to commit to the Wildcats in just the last four days. Kentucky Football to host New Mexico State, Doug Martin in 2016

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Football team has finalized its 2016 football schedule by inking a deal with a former Wildcat. UK Athletics confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Kentucky will host New Mexico State in 2016, currently scheduled for September 17th. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in the football program’s history. Kentucky Football receives a vote in Coaches Preseason Top 25

LEXINGTON — The Preseason Coaches Poll came out today, and despite not making the top 25, Kentucky Football did receive one vote. A panel of 64 randomly selected FBS head coaches submit individual top 25 lists with first place votes earning 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th. Kentucky came out with one solitary point, meaning some coach somewhere thinks the Cats are a top-25 caliber team. And no, it wasn’t Mark Stoops... Read more

The ladies take the field at UK's 2015 Women's Football Clinic

LEXINGTON — The men aren’t the only ones taking the field in preparation for Kentucky’s upcoming 2015 football season. Over 300 ladies gathered on the gridiron over the weekend at UK’s annual Women’s Football Clinic at Nutter Field House.
