Kentucky quarterback Drew Barker is back on the practice field after spending the last several months recovering from back surgery he had last November. Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran assured the media this morning that Barker is making progress. “Yeah, he came in and got some reps. Brenden Bates commits to Kentucky

Kentucky just picked up a big-time 2018 commitment from four-star tight end Brenden Bates. He chose Kentucky over hometown school Cincinnati, Louisville and Vanderbilt among others. The junior attends Moeller high school. Bates is the No. 10 tight end in the 2018 class, according to Rivals. He stands tall at 6’ 5” and weighs 220 pounds. Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops met with the media this afternoon to discuss Kentucky’s spring practice getting underway. The team held its first practice on Sunday afternoon. Kentucky is coming off of one of its best seasons in recent memory. The Wildcats finished the season 7-5, falling to Georgia Tech in the TaxSlayer Bowl on New Year’s Eve. Jojo Kemp "hungry" for shot at NFL

Kentucky football picked up two 2018 commitments from the same high school this week in wide receiver Marvin Alexander and defensive end Davoan Hawkins. Alexander and Hawkins join quarterback Jarren Williams in the 2018 class.
