Mark Stoops and his staff hit another home run this afternoon when four-star quarterback Drew Barker gave his verbal to the University of Kentucky. Barker, who was also being pursued by South Carolina and Tennessee, picked the Cats while flanked by his parents and his coach, Dave Trosper. The National Football Federation announced that Steve Meilinger has been named to the College Football Hall of Fame. Meilinger played three seasons at Kentucky under Bear Bryant.
