DeAndre Ayton is a seven-foot teenager who says his game is a mix between Anthony Davis and Kristaps Porzingis. He remains interested in Kentucky, although the staff hasn’t made him one of their top priorities. Did you know that 149 Kentucky basketball players have served in the US military? Carlos Toomer, a member of the Kentucky basketball team from 1990-1992, is the most recent player to serve. Of those 149 players, six died while in the line of duty. Does Demarcus Cousins get the respect he deserves?

Yesterday, Demarcus Cousins was named All-NBA second team for the second straight year. Cousins is the fourth UK player to earn multiple All-NBA honors in a career, the last being Cliff Hagan in 1958-1959. Despite being the fourth leading scorer in the league (26.9 PPG) and averaging over 10 rebounds (10.3 RPG), Clippers center DeAndre Jordan was named All-NBA first team. The deadline for withdrawing from the NBA Draft brought some closure to the situations for UK basketball players Isaiah Briscoe and Marcus Lee. For Briscoe, it’s a return to Kentucky. Marcus Lee withdrawing from NBA Draft, plans to transfer from UK

Right after Isaiah Briscoe announced his return, UK sent out a press release stating that Marcus Lee will withdraw his name from the NBA Draft and will transfer from UK. Once Lee has completed his paperwork to withdraw from the draft, he will be granted a full release with no restrictions.
