Calipari's "players first" philosophy spreads across campus

After the 2010 basketball season, his first in Lexington, John Calipari declared Kentucky a “players first” program. Since then, Kentucky as a program has seen success on the court, and its players have seen success in their given careers. Now, it appears UK President Eli Capiluto and Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart have adopted the same philosophy.  Read more

Two years ago, at the age of six, Kelly Melton went to the doctor to get his ear looked at and found at he had leukemia. In the two years since, he’s fought the disease courageously and found countless friends in the UK athletics department.
