Five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley commits to Kentucky

John Calipari has secured his first commitment in the 2018 class from five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley. The Baltimore, Maryland native picked Kentucky over Kansas and Miami. Quickley stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 175 pounds. UK Men's Basketball | Pro Day scheduled for October 8

Kentucky men’s basketball has announced its annual Pro Day has been set for Sunday, October 8 at Rupp Arena. The event gives NBA teams an opportunity to evaluate current Wildcats’ skills. The SEC Network plans to televise the practice live from 7 to 9 p.m. All 30 NBA teams have been invited. Funeral Arrangements for Billy Ray Lickert Set

Kentucky basketball legend Billy Ray Lickert died on Wednesday at the age of 78. Lickert scored over 1,000 career points in his Kentucky career and was inducted into the UK Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010. The visitation will be this Sunday, September 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. on Southland Drive in Lexington. The funeral will be held Monday the 18th at 11 a.m. at Crestwood Cristian Church.
