Marvin Bagley, the nation’s number one high school player in the class of 2018, announced that he is reclassifying to 2017 and will play for Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils this season. Bagley still has to be cleared by the NCAA, but if he is eligible to play, this is a big get for Coach K. Kyle Wiltjer signs non-guaranteed deal with Toronto

Former Kentucky and Gonzaga forward Kyle Wiltjer has signed a one-year, $1.3 million dollar non-guaranteed deal, according to Dime Magazine. Tickets for this season’s Big Blue Madness will be available September 29. The annual event at Rupp Arena will take place on October 13 at 7 p.m. Tickets are free, and as in the past two years, ticket distribution will take place Friday night at the Memorial Coliseum ticket windows on Avenue of Champions and online through Ticketmaster. USA Today Doubts Kentucky

Earlier this week, Paul Myerberg of USA Today released record projections for all 130 FBS teams going into the 2017 season. Myerberg projects Kentucky to finish 5-7, with a 2-6 SEC record. Big Blue Nation has proven once again it is arguably the best fan base in college basketball. The Kentucky men’s basketball team had the highest average home attendance during the 2016-2017 season. UK averaged 23,461 fans per home game, according to figures released by the NCAA on Tuesday. Syracuse was second on the list, averaging 21,181 fans per home game, while Louisville was third on the list, averaging 20,846 fans per home game.
