The latest installment of the Battle for the Bluegrass was as thrilling as fans could ask for. The game between the no. 17 Kentucky and no. 7 Louisville women’s basketball teams featured six lead changes that ultimately ended in overtime. Kentucky falls to UCLA behind Bruins' hot shooting

Kentucky isn’t invincible. That’s what we found out today as the Wildcats fell to UCLA for the second straight season to suffer their first loss of the year. The eleventh-ranked Bruins shot 53% from the floor and had six players score in double figures, led by Isaac Hamilton’s 19. History was made on Monday night, as De’Aaron Fox became only the second player in Kentucky basketball history to record a triple-double (14 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists). Fox’s performance was one of many strong showings from Kentucky players in the team’s 115-69 drubbing of Arizona State. Six Wildcats scored in double-figures, led by Malik Monk’s 23 points. UK Hoops picked up their fifth game of the season Sunday 80-57 over the Samford Bulldogs. The Wildcats record improves to 5-1 on the season and 5-0 at Memorial Coliseum.
