Kentucky expected a much different Missouri team in Columbia than the one they saw just a couple of weeks ago in Rupp Arena, where the Cats thrashed the Tigers by 49 points. Calipari wants change, thinks college basketball should "own August"

During this week’s SEC teleconference, John Calipari was asked about Jay Bilas’ sugggestion that college basketball have a shorter shot clock. Calipari agreed, but then explained the real change he wants to see. He wants more opportunities for players to compete, like his team did in The Bahahams, and thinks that the sport should “own” the month of August.  Read more
