Mitchell, Barnhart offer condolences following passing of Pat Summitt

Following news of the passing of legendary Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt, Kentucky Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart and Kentucky women’s basketball coach Matthew Mitchell offered their condolences. Summitt, who led the Volunteers women basketball program for 38 years, died on Tuesday at the age of 64. Following Thursday night’s NBA Draft, it was reported that undrafted Alex Poythress will join the Orlando Magic Summer League in an effort to nab a spot in the NBA.
