4-Star Recruit Jairus Brents Discusses Relationship With UK Coaches

08/24/2017 08:00 PM

Waggener High School star Jairus Brents announced his top ten this week and among his contenders was Mark Stoops and the Wildcats. The Louisville-native is 5’10” and 178 pounds.

Brents is being recruited as a DB, but has played everything at Waggener from kick and punt return, to wide receiver and running back and this season even quarterback.

Brents is the top-rated uncommitted senior in the state and would be the lone Kentucky kid in the class if he were to commit to the Cats.

UK was Brents’ first offer as an 8th grader when he was just 13 and he says the relationship he has with the staff is strong.

He told Spectrum News he does not have a timeline for when he plans to make his decision, but he does plan to use all five of his unofficial visits.
