30-0. UK rallies at Georgia, remains undefeated

Closers just know how to close.
After trailing by as many as nine points late in the second half, No. 1 Kentucky went on a 7-0 run followed by a 16-2 run over the final 5:36 to escape Georgia with a 72-64 victory on Tuesday night in Athens.
Freshman Karl-Anthony Towns led the charge for the Wildcats (30-0, 17-0 SEC) with 19 points — 17 of them coming after halftime. The Harrison twins also came up big, combining for 28 points as the Wildcats improved to 30-0 to remain undefeated on the season.
Nemanja Djurisic scored 18 for upset-minded Georgia (19-10, 10-7 SEC), but the Bulldogs ran out of steam down the stretch, closing the game shooting just 2-8 from the field and 2-7 from the foul line after leading 56-47 with 9:10 left in the game.
It was the UK’s final road game of the regular season with only Senior Night against Florida (15-15, 8-9 SEC) remaining on Saturday.
The Wildcats and Gators will tipoff at 2:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
