Kentucky quarterbacks have thrown 179 touchdowns in the last ten seasons, but 71 of them were thrown by Andre Woodson over a two-year period from 2006-2007. The UK football team added a surprise member of the football team when Marvin Robinson was listed on the roster as a walk-on. The 6’4”, 180 pound Robinson, who runs a 4.45 40-yard dash, was rated as a three-star prospect in the class of 2015 and originally committed to Wisconsin. Following an impressive summer league stint in both the Utah and Las Vegas Summer Leagues, Trey Lyles was back in his hometown of Indianapolis over the weekend. He hosted his first skills camp at his alma mater, Arsenal Tech High School. Lyles charged only $2 for the camp and is giving all money raised to cancer research. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s NBA career has been marred by injuries since he was drafted second overall in the 2012 NBA draft. Since 2013, MKG has missed time for eight different injuries, ranging from a broken hand, to a hamstring strain, to a torn labrum. Over the weekend, MKG was in Lexington working a camp on UK’s campus. He discussed his health, saying he feels 100% ready to go for the season. We discussed his future in the NBA. Read more
