Following Time Warner Cable’s announcement this week that the cable company had reached an agreement with the SEC Network to carry the channel, Cats fans immediately wanted to know if the August 14 launch date would be too late to catch broadcasts of the Big Blue Bahamas tour, which begins on August 10. Big Blue Nation will get its first look at the UK football team on Saturday, August 9 at 9 a.m. ET with Kentucky Football Fan Day. Players and coaches will be signing autographs, and fans will also be able to pick up 2014 posters and schedule cards. UK Alumni Charity Game set for August 24

The Kentucky men’s basketball program announced Wednesday that the annual Alumni Charity Game will be held August 24 at 6 p.m. ET. The game will pit a team of UK pros against a team of non-UK pros. Due to NBA restrictions, the school cannot confirm which players will or will not play in the exhibition game ahead of time. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 28 at 10 a.m. ET. Read more
