GAINESVILLE — After making it’s fourth Super Regional in five years, UK Softball’s postseason run was cut short over the weekend against defending champion Florida, The Cats failed to score a run over two games against the No. 1 Gators in their quest for back-to-back berths in the College World Series, losing both games by scores of 7-0 and 1-0 and finishing the season with an overall record on 32-26. LEXINGTON — Canadian talent Jamal Murray said this week that he wants to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, but he first needs to decide where and when he’s going to play college ball. FRANKFORT — “If you build it, they will come.” Dave Wickstrom saw a documentary a few years ago on beep baseball — a new version of America’s Pastime for the visually impaired — a he immediately knew he needed to bring the game to the Commonwealth. Now, in 2015, the dream of Beep Baseball Kentucky has become a reality, and KSTV was in the state capital yesterday for the grand opening of the world’s first blind baseball park.  Read more
