Mark Stoops, Eddie Gran and Matt House spoke to a packed room at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville this afternoon for the Wildcat Kickoff Luncheon. Sacha Killeya-Jones Selected to Attend Great Britain Training camp

Kentucky basketball sophomore Sacha Killeya-Jones has accepted an invitation to attend Great Britain’s national training camp, it was announced on Friday by UK Athetics. The training camp will determine Great Britain’s final roster for FIBA EuroBasket 2017. Twenty-four players will participate in the training camp. The roster will be cut down to 12 players for FIBA EuroBasket 2017, which begins on August 31. Training camp begins on July 31 in Manchester, England. Hard work has paid off for Dakari Johnson. After spending his first two professional seasons in the NBA’s G-League with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Oklahoma City Thunder are calling Johnson up to the NBA, signing him to a two-year deal. That’s according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Derek Willis has signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons. ESPN’s Chris Haynes first broke the news this afternoon.
