LEXINGTON — The dice continue to be hot for the Kentucky Football team after landing a commitment from five-star wide receiver Jermaine Eskridge on Thursday afternoon: The 6-foot-3 athlete from Tampa, Florida, is Kentucky’s first verbal for 2018 and the sixth overall player to commit to the Wildcats in just the last four days. Eskridge holds a “composite” five-star rating on recruiting site 247Sports and a four-star wide receiver grade on Scout.com. Rivals.com has not yet assigned Eskridge a star rating,... Read more

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Football team has finalized its 2016 football schedule by inking a deal with a former Wildcat. UK Athletics confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Kentucky will host New Mexico State in 2016, currently scheduled for September 17th. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in the football program’s history. Kentucky Football receives a vote in Coaches Preseason Top 25

LEXINGTON — The Preseason Coaches Poll came out today, and despite not making the top 25, Kentucky Football did receive one vote. A panel of 64 randomly selected FBS head coaches submit individual top 25 lists with first place votes earning 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th. Kentucky came out with one solitary point, meaning some coach somewhere thinks the Cats are a top-25 caliber team. And no, it wasn’t Mark Stoops... Read more
