WKU safety Jonathan Dowling inks deal with Raiders

Safety Jonathan Dowling, who was taken in the 7th round by the Oakland Raiders, agreed to a four-year contract and is set to make $2.26 million over the life of his contract according to csnbayarea.com
Dowling was ranked one of the top safeties in the country coming out of high school. He started his college career at Florida before transferring to Western Kentucky. Last season he led the NCAA with six forced fumbles. He started all 12 games his senior season and tallied 67 tackles and three interceptions. He also accounted for seven pass breakups and also returned a block field goal for a 70 yard touchdown.
