WKU Football | In control from the beginning

WKU Quarterback Brandon Doughty threw for 6 touchdowns and 457 yards through the air, as The Hilltoppers blew the doors off of Miami of Ohio 56-14. The game could have been a bigger blowout. Western led 49-7 at the half, before calling the dogs off in the second half.

With the win, WKU improves to 3-1 (1-0 in conference), while the Redhawks fall to 1-3. Redshirt Freshman D’Andre Ferby ran for 115 yards, while wide out Taywan taylor caught a pair of touchdown tosses. Taylor and Jared Dangerfield both snagged more than 100 yards through the air (154 and 148 respectively).

Next weekend WKU is back in conference, playing at Rice for a 3:30pm ET/2:30pm CT kickoff.
