'Win it for me, y'all," Ware tells Cards; UofL players talk about losing their super sub after beating Duke

(WITH VIDEO) The University of Louisville’s celebration after winning the Midwest Region Sunday night was tempered by the loss of guard Kevin Ware.

Ware told the team to “Win it for me, y’all,” after breaking his right leg on an attempted block with more than 6:30 to play in the first half.

Coach Rick Pitino and his players led the UofL faithful in Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium in a chant of “Kevin, Kevin” during the post-game celebration after dispatching the Duke Blue Devils, 85-63, to go to the Final Four in Atlanta.

The Cards didn’t spend too much time celebrating as most of their thoughts were with Ware, who was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
