Will Kyle Bolin's breakout performance creates another QB controversy?

When Reggie Bonnafon went down with an apparent leg injury, many did not know what to expect out of the quarterback position for Louisville.
Kyle Bolin, who began the season as the third-string quarterback, was thrust into the spotlight against Kentucky. On his second pass, the redshirt freshman threw a 45-yard touchdown DeVante Parker.
Bolin ultimately led the Cards to a 44-40 victory over the Cats, and a new quarterback controversy was born. The status of Bonnafon’s injury remains unknown, and the same could be said for Will Gardner. For now, Bolin will get his chance to earn the job. But come Spring practice, a battle will likely ensue between the three quarterbacks.
