As Louisville Cardinal fans kick off game week of the season opener against Charlotte on Thursday, University of Louisville released an outline of several new and improved features that football fans can expect at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium this season.

Features include:

New, 15-foot-tall sign towers

The towers will be located throughout the parking lot and provide game day information, maps, directional information, tailgating policies and stadium prohibited items.

“We are here for you” customer service

Renewed commitment from game day staff to help provide fans with the best game day experience possible, including city and campus police, parking lot staff, security and ushering staff, concession and catering personnel, cleaning contractors and physical plant staff.

Tag-A-Kid program

The program will serve as an effort to help reconnect parents with lost children. Parents are encouraged to visit the nearest Customer Relations Booth to receive a wrist band on which they can include their contact information and attach to their child.

Card March

The pregame Card March provides fans with an opportunity to greet the Cardinals and cheer them on as the team enters the stadium. Fans are invited to arrive early and create an entrance way from the Green Lot for the players.

Texting

Fans who want to report unruly fan behavior or any other issue without leaving their seat can text Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium staff at 69050. Just include the word VILLE along with the issue and location.
