Van Treese Back At Louisville

Louisville big man Stephan Van Treese announced June 6 that he would be transferring from the program after Rick Pitino advised him that minutes would be tough to come by. Even as recently as last week, Van Treese said that Pitino recommended that he transfer to Bellarmine with the possibility of returning to the Cards in one year. But in a surprising turn of events, reports say Van Treese is back practicing with Louisville and will be on the roster in 2012-13.

As a junior last season, the Indianapolis native played in only three games because of injuries and averaged 1.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
