UofL Swimming | Beats UK, taking momentum into final part of season

Whenever Louisville and Kentucky compete, you can be sure it will be intense, regardless of the sport. That was certainly the case when UofL and UK got together for a dual swim meet. This latest chapter in their rivalry had a decided “RED” feel, as both the Cardinals Men’s and Women’s swimming and diving team, defeated their UK counterparts.

NCAA record holder Kelsi Worrell was probably the biggest name in the competition. Worrell, who holds records in the 100 and 200 meter butterfly, won her events, which also included several relay events.

The Cards now have one more dual meet to go, against Indiana, before preparing for the upcoming ACC and NCAA Tournaments.
