UofL SOCCER | Winter skills clinic getting younger generations interested in soccer

01/04/2016 08:30 PM

University of Louisville men’s soccer coach Ken Lolla recruited a couple of his current players to put on a Winter Skills Clinic this weekend. The clinic gives children between the ages of 6-14 the opportunity to sharpen their skills with instruction from current college athletes and coaches.

We met up with coach Lolla at the event and he told us the reason for hosting these clinics is quite simple.

Coach Lolla also said giving the kids an opportunity to get out and run around this holiday season is really important to him. He also told us that the current U of L players enjoy these clinics just as much as the kids.

The Louisville Men’s Soccer team went 7-9-3 in 2015.
