The University of Louisville picked up a landmark win on Friday, as the Cards won for the first time ever at South Florida, 34-24.
With the win, UofL improved to 7-5 and wrapped up at least a share of the Big East championship. One Cincinnati loss in its final two games and a Pittsburgh loss at West Virginia Friday night would mean a BCS appearance for the Cards, who would represent the Big East in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 4.
Freshman quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw for a career-high three touchdown passes, including two to another freshman, receiver DeVante Parker.
Parker’s 11-yard TD catch early in the fourth quarter put UofL up for good at 27-24.
