UofL FOOTBALL | Lamar Jackson's deep pass "one of the more impressive things"

University of Louisville quarterbacks coach Nick Petrino has been very quick to praise the improvement of Lamar Jackson, and now specifically it is the sophomore’s ability to throw the bomb. The long ball. The deep pass. Whatever you want to call it, Lamar Jackson’s ability to place a long throw on a dime is stood out as “one of the more impressive things” according to Petrino.

With exactly two weeks left until the first game of the season, it’s hard to believe the hype can get much higher for U of L football. But it will, and to help drive it along until game day, we asked TheCrunchZone.com writer Mark Blankenbaker to help take a closer look at the strengths of the Cards heading into their September 1 game against Charlotte.
