Granted, the Louisville Spring game was first team against second team. So sating quarterback Lamar Jackson was going up against the back-up defense. Still, the numbers he put up were incredible, 8 touchdowns, 24 of 29 passing for 519 yards. Yikes!

Jackson’s Red team beat the white squad either 73-7 (according to the stat book) or 66-7 (according to the scoreboard). It was a blowout either way you looked at it. The way Bobby Petrino looked at it was whether or not Jackson was going through his progressions and playing within the game plan. And the Head Coach told us he was pleased with Jackson, and the team as a whole.

Other stats includes the First Team Defense giving up just 1 touchdown, WR James Quick had 5 catches for 152 yards and a TD, Jamari Staples had 4 catches for 107 yards and a TD, and Jaylen Smith had 5 catches for 99 yards and a score.
