UofL FOOTBALL | James Quick makes offense more dynamic

James Quick came back with a bang against Samford last weekend. Louisville’s junior wide receiver recorded three catches for 69 yards and one touchdown in the Cards’ triumphant effort over the Bulldogs.

Even as a junior, Quick is the most experienced pass catcher for the Cardinals, and his experience and skill require additional attention from opposing defenses. That added coverage opens up the rest of Louisville’s offense to make plays and provide the level of multiplicity the coaching staff expects. Louisville will need Quick’s best as they head to Raleigh to take on an unbeaten North Carolina State.

Having the veteran leader on the field come game day is a huge benefit to a young Louisville offense, but the coaches are even happier to have him back at practice.
