UofL football hosts two top JUCO players

Spring drills are over, but UofL football is still working hard to add a few more talented players to the roster next year. JUCO All-American running back Jovon Robinson will make his first official visit to Louisville today, according to 247Sports.com. He originally signed with Auburn out of high school but was ruled ineligible in the fall of 2012 based on grades. Since then, Robinson attended Georgia Military Academy. He is considered one of the best running backs in the country between all available JUCO transfers and high school recruits.
Robinson will bring one of his Georgia Military Academy teammates with him today to UofL, according to dual threat quarterback Pat Thomas’s Twitter. Thomas has strong ties with the UofL program, since he previously committed to offensive coordinator Garrick McGee when the coach worked at UAB. Louisville has not officially extended a scholarship offer to Thomas. If the Cards did and Thomas signed, the quarterback would be competing with red shirt sophomore Will Gardner and incoming freshman Reggie Bonnafon.
