UofL FOOTBALL | Bowl game prep a huge advantage for younger Cardinals

12/15/2015 06:07 PM

The Louisville Football team is quickly approaching game day. December 30, the Cards face off against Texas A & M in the Music City Bowl down the road in Nashville.

The Louisville coaching staff has been stressing the importance of weeks leading up to a bowl game, especially to the younger members of the team. The offense has featured underclassmen all season long that have had the opportunity to grow and mature during regular season games, but the Louisville defense has had players waiting in the wings for their shot. Those players, affectionately known as the look squad by Louisville offensive coordinator Garrick McGee, now get an expanded role in bowl game preparation.
