UofL Cruises to First Win of the Season

The Cards earned their first win of the 2014-15 season against Minnesota Friday night, as they beat the Gophers 81-68.
The game was close in the early going but UofL pulled away late in the first half. Minnesota came within eight points of the Cards in the second half, but the game was already out of reach.
UofL forward Montrezl Harrrell led all scorers with a career-high 30 points along with four rebounds, two assists and one steal. Harrell also led the Cards in three pointers, knocking down three of four from long range.
Louisville guards Terry Rozier and Chris Jones finished with 18 and 13 points, respectively; while Wayne Blackshear and Quentin Snider scored seven points apeice.
This game was played in an aircraft hangar aboard the United States Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen as the third installment of the Armed Forces Classic.
UofL will play its first home game of the season against Jacksonville State Monday, November 17th. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM at the KFC Yum! Center.
