The Louisville Cardinals add a third commitment to their 2015 recruiting class. Four-star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell committed to UofL on the first day on his two-day recruiting trip. The 6-foot-3, 180 pound guard from Brewster Academy in Connecticut announced his commitment on Twitter.

Mitchell is a four-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and is rated the No. 83 overall player and No. 28 shooting guard in the 2015 class. He picked the Cards over programs like Indiana, Florida, Connecticut and Cincinnati. Mitchell missed last year’s summer basketball due to a broken wrist, but he made up for it this summer becoming one of the top scorers. Mitchell joins small forward Deng Adel and power forward Raymond Spalding in the Cards’ 2015 recruiting class.
