UofL BASKETBALL | Lessons learned from departing seniors

03/03/2016 12:30 PM

Their is still a game to play. The season is not over for the Louisville Basketball team despite the Yum! Center farewell to Damion Lee, Trey Lewis and Dillon Avare. The Cards have a game against Virginia this Saturday, and the Cavaliers are the team responsible for Louisville’s worst defeat of the season, a 63-47 embarrassment on January 30.

The Cards have a chance for revenge this weekend, and an opportunity to end a bittersweet season on positive note. Additionally, for the players returning to the Cardinal roster next season, it is a chance to spend one more game learning from the two fifth year seniors that have been anchors during a tempestuous year. The chance to learn from the experienced players has not been wasted on any of the returning Cards, both underclassmen and upperclassmen alike.
